Dr. Donald Wilkerson is board-certified in vascular surgery. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He completed his surgical residency and a fellowship in surgical research at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Wilkerson has more than thirty-five years of experience treating patients with vascular disease. His work has included positions as assistant professor of surgery, hospital staff surgeon, vascular laboratory director, and partner in a private practice. Dr. Wilkerson has participated in numerous research studies. He has trained many medical students and surgery residents. Dr. Wilkerson is most proud of his two adult daughters.
